In order for this umbrella to be wind-rated, it must be secured to the supplied in-ground mount and the mount installed in concrete in a hole measuring at least 500mm deep x 400mm x 400mm wide*.
Place the in-ground mount into the hole and back-fill with cement. When the cement is fully cured, securley bolt the umbrella base to the mount with the supplied bolts.

Coolaroo umbrellas are designed for regular outdoor use, but they should be closed and stored during high winds, heavy rain, or off-season months to help extend their life. Allow the canopy to dry completely before storing in an umbrella cover.
